It’s the best policy. We’re real, authentic and true to our word. We are passionate about everything we make, create, say and do. We believe in responsible business. Therefore we take a huge interest and commitment in building a more sustainable business and supply chain. We strongly believe that we have a responsibility to all our communities. Our ambition is to bring energy and enthusiasm among all involved in our supply chain and meet the highest customer’s standards. Furthermore, our aim is to ensure that our business is sustainable and has a positive impact on society.
Our employees are our most valuable asset. Our responsibility also extends to our employees receiving the highest standards of care following our internal Code of Ethics and Business Practices. We are committed to support their growth and further their development.
Mexx aims to have full transparency into the factories where our products are produced. We always ensure that both local laws and our Code of Conduct are adhered to by our sourcing partners. Both our internal compliance team and external sourcing partners visit factories to check the working conditions.
Should we find evidence of misconduct, Mexx demands immediate corrective action. Should we discover any violation of our zero tolerance issues (Mexx has zero tolerance policy for child labour, forced labour, falsified records, sexual harassment, physical harassment, and health and safety issues), the manufacturer in question must immediately cease producing merchandise for Mexx. They must show the issues have been properly corrected before they can produce for Mexx again.
Our brand values define who we are and what we do. They maintain our brand and business core, yet allow us to constantly move forward. At Mexx, there are 7 values by which we stand:
We are passionate about everything we make, create, say and do.
Every moment matters and a stranger is a friend you haven’t met yet. We bring energy and enthusiasm to everything we do.
We think deeply and always have our own, considered point of view.
It’s the best policy. We’re real, authentic and true to our word.
We know who we are and where we’ve come from. We stay true to our past while looking to the future.
Lives lived to the fullest. There’s so much to be positive about each and every day.
There’s strength in difference. We celebrate and champion diversity.
Our philosophy is to manage a transparent and responsible supply chain. We do not own or operate any factories; therefore we aim for a reliable, long-term relationship with all our sourcing partners. Our supply chain is at core of our business and we are committed to continuously evolve and improve.

Mexx is a member of the Business Social Compliances Initiative. BSCI was launched in 2003 as an initiative of the Foreign Trade Association (FTA). The BSCI is a leading business-driven initiative for companies committed to improved working conditions in the global supply chain.
BSCI unites over 1000 companies around one common Code of Conduct and supports them in their efforts towards building an ethical supply chain by providing them with a step-by-step development-oriented system, applicable to all sectors and all sourcing countries.
Mexx believes in strength in numbers. Working with our partners in multi-stakeholder initiatives, where we can share experiences with peers and work together to improve transparency in the garment sector is an integral part of our social responsibility.
As a member of BSCI community, Mexx has adopted the BSCI Code of Conduct. Our sourcing partners are obliged to accept the legally binding Code of Conduct. In accordance with the ILO Conventions, the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN's Conventions on children's rights and the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and other relevant internationally recognized agreements, the BSCI Code of Conduct aims to attain compliance with certain social and environmental standards. Within the scope of options for action and appropriate measures, supplier companies have to aim at the implementation of the following criteria in a development approach:
